Not all our experience with real estate agents over the years has been good.  Our experience with Elliott Dean was different.

Elliott presented as both enthusiastic and intelligent.  He displayed a good knowledge and understanding of not merely the facts and figures with respect to local sales (which presumably an electronic search can provide to any player in the industry), but he demonstrated considerable sensitivity towards the manner in which the particular apartment should be presented for sale and marketed.

Elliott kept us regularly updated with respect to the interest from potential purchasers, without pestering us.  When one purchase became particularly interested, he guided us with respect to the appropriate negotiations.

Perhaps most importantly, with respect to the bottom line, Elliott gave our family what turned out to be a realistic guide to the likely selling price.  I might say that his optimism with respect to the potential sale price, which was an optimism ultimately realizes, was not matched by his competitors.  Had we chosen to direct the agency to Elliott, but taken the advice of others, we may well have marketed the property for a substantially lesser figure and sold without the knowledge of the greater potential sale price which we in fact achieved.

For this fact alone we, as a family, are particularly grateful to Elliott.

Throughout our dealings with Elliott he was attentive, informative and pleasant.  He maintained regular, but not annoying, contact.  He provided assistance with all aspects of marketing and presentation of the unit for sale.  Personally he is a well-educated and charming young man with both the capacity for hard work, and the ethical standards, which will ensure he has a long and successful career in the real estate industry.
